Wiktionary defines it as "A lifestyle and subculture that advocates abstinence from alcohol, tobacco and the usage of recreational drugs."
I really don't like the term. It's not because it's punk rock origin. I just don't like how people think they are all cool and edgy when they use it. You're not special, your just a person that doesn't do drugs and shit. You don't need to put some bogus title on it.
(ps i don't do drugs so it's not just people that do drugs that don't like the term.)
