Ribbons and Bows

This band is really hard to describe. There is a mystery about them too, they have no site, twitter, facebook or anything like that. Just a bandcamp where they release their music. There sound is like lo-fi kind of sound, with electronic stuff sometimes, but uses voice samples in some of their songs too. They do a lot of weird but rad stuff.
I first came across Ribbons and Bows when Anamanaguchi posted on their Tumblr that said, "check out this LOL version of jetpack blues sunset hues by ribbons & bows that is actually pretty rad." They posted it a little over 2 months ago. At first thoughts I thought, "What the fuck? Why does this sound like this?" I thought it was just kinda noise, despite listening to other bands that would be considered "noise". I still downloaded their album Hush. I put off to listening to the album for kinda a while. Every now and then I'd listen to the Anamanaguchi track, didn't bother with the other tracks. Earlier this week I listened to Hush. It was such a rad experience. A lot of catchy fun sounding songs. My mom walked in when I was listening to them and she said, "What's wrong with your speakers? Is it suppose to sound like that?" It doesn't surprise me because my mom can't can't stand like half the shit I listen to.
You guys should definitely give it a listen if you aren't bothered by stuff thats lo-fi or "sounds like shit." There stuff is up free on their bandcamp page anyways.

This 8-bit, chiptune, electronic- whatever you wanna call it, is a Japanese band founded in 2009.
I won't pretend to know anything else really about them. They look like they put on a really fun show. They seem to be underrated or better some dude on last.fm said "underexposed." They don't even have over 10,000 plays on last.fm which is like blasphemy to me. Their album 絶叫みだれラリーランド is a good time. Just listen for yourself.
If you wanna download their album, they have it up on japshare

I might do this again sometime. Who knows, I don't really have a format for my blog.
Until whenever.
